DecopatchDecopatch Papercraft Workshop – For Kids and/or Adults

Try the new addictive craft that’s sweeping the UK! Decopatch is the modern simplified version of the traditional French craft of ‘decoupage’ which means to ‘cut out’. Learn to assemble, paste and varnish special Decopatch paper that you’ve cut out to decorate an object. You can keep it simple or develop beautiful and complex designs. The only limit is your imagination!

decopatch dogAt MakeMe’s Decopatch workshop, you can choose to decorate various MDF letters, papier mache animals (scottie dogs, elephants, cats, penguins, lizards, giraffes and more) or a variety of objects (stars, hearts, boxes and letters) with a fabulous collection of special papers.

Once you’ve learned the technique, you will want to cover EVERYTHING – and you can! Decopatch papers and the special glue/varnish can cover virtually anything – furniture, glass, stone, cardboard and metal. Learn how to transform objects in your home and take them from ‘blah’ to ‘wow’!

You will take home your creation together with all the instructions and details you need to bring the craze home.

Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are included for adults and juice/squash, popcorn and snacks are included for the younger set.

MakeMe Studio Time
Studio Time – Borrow workspace and equipment

When the workshop timetable allows, we have scheduled Studio Time where you can book hour long slots to work on your own project in our workshop.

Perhaps you don’t want to use your dining room table or floor for your project or you don’t want to be on your own? Come and use our large worktables and borrow a new Janome computerised BCC-30 machine for your sew or craft project. We also have most sewing and craft equipment that we would be pleased to lend you (if in doubt about what we might have, give us a call). We can also provide lots of moral support and might be able to help if you had a question or two. You may also make use of our extensive collection of reference materials on most crafty subjects for assistance or inspiration.

If interested in making a booking, please contact us.
